PEGIS Staff Complete First Batch of Oil and Gas Industry Training Programme

Fifteen members of PEGIS Global staff completed the first batch of a three-day training programme on Nigeria's Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream Oil and Gas Operations on June 10, 2026.
PEGIS Global Services Limited successfully concluded the first batch of its three-day training programme on Nigeria's Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream Oil and Gas Operations on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
The programme brought together 15 members of staff for an immersive introduction to the oil and gas industry, covering how the sector functions across its three key segments: upstream exploration and production, midstream gas processing and transportation, and downstream refining, distribution, and marketing.
The training was designed specifically to expose non-technical staff to the workings of Nigeria's oil and gas industry. By equipping support and administrative team members with a clearer understanding of the sector, PEGIS Global is investing in a more informed and well-rounded workforce, one better placed to contribute to client engagements, project support, and business development.
Participants engaged in structured sessions covering wellhead and production systems, gas processing and pipeline operations, and the downstream value chain. Interactive group discussions formed a key part of the programme, giving participants the opportunity to draw direct connections between their everyday roles and the broader industry context.
This was the first of multiple planned batches, with additional groups of staff scheduled to complete the same programme in the coming weeks. The initiative reflects PEGIS Global's commitment to building a knowledgeable, well-rounded team across all functions of the business.
